Performance, Antonella Albanese, Sara Angius, Mario Gaglione, Thibault Monnier, Marie Schruoffeneger, Giulia Spinelli, Luigi Villotta
Production, La Biennale di Venezia

Created as part of the 2018 Venice Dance Biennale to premier at the 12th International Contemporary Dance Festival.

A tired windswept tree, bare within a barren terrain; its conditioned branches surrender in the relentless Sirocco. As the sand picks pace, it pricks the skin and turns the cheek. It carries with with it the force and fragility of terrains that have grown tired of telling.
As the new trade winds blow, they bring with it echoes of distant landscapes, of tales that softly repeat as they sweep far east.

Forwards.
